Nominator's project description
| Professor Bing Bing Jia is a leading expert on public international law. He has made several important contributions in the fields of the international law of the sea as well as the international criminal law. His research benefits from the practical knowledge he gained during his service as a legal counsel at the International Criminal Tribunals for the Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda. During his stay in Germany, he intends to contribute an analysis of the regime of straits to a new, comprehensive commentary on the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. |
